Authentic Assessment-
includes portfolio assessments and e-portfolios.
With the portfolio assessment strategy it allows students to
collect artifacts or documents that demonstrates the learning outcomes they
have achieved. This allows students to
create power point collections of their world to e-portfolios created via
online portfolio websites.
Your instructional objectives identify very specific
criteria and methods for measuring student success. Your assessment should be specifically
designed to determine whether those objectives have been achieved. Your
students’ mastery of your instructional objectives is the most significant evolution
of your design. Student achievement combined with results from other summative
feedback efforts will give you the information you need to make future
improvements to your design.

I was able to find a helpful website that gives information
about Portfolio Assessments and examples of them.
Also, here is informational video on Portfolio Assessments
